What you'll do

As the Security Manager for Vulnerability Management Operations, you will lead a team responsible for the entire vulnerability management lifecycle, including intake, assessment, discovery, and remediation of security issues. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that your team effectively identifies and mitigates vulnerabilities across Amazon's critical business functions. Collaboration with peers in Seattle, Austin, and London will be essential as you work to continuously improve operational mechanisms and share best practices. You will partner with builders and leaders across Amazon to ensure proper mitigation and remediation of security issues, contributing to the overall security posture of the organization. Your role will involve analyzing security incidents, developing response strategies, and implementing proactive measures to prevent future vulnerabilities. You will also be responsible for reporting on security metrics and providing insights to senior leadership on the effectiveness of vulnerability management efforts.
