Who you are

You have a strong background in robotics and control systems, with hands-on experience in developing scalable solutions for complex problems. Your expertise in machine learning allows you to integrate data-driven techniques with fundamental principles, enhancing the capabilities of robotic systems. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and can communicate your ideas effectively, both verbally and visually, to collaborate with a diverse team of experts.

You are passionate about robotics and have a desire to learn from new challenges. Your experience includes formulating physics-based models and performing analytical and numerical studies to design control and estimation algorithms. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to innovative projects that improve productivity and safety in fulfillment centers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will research, design, implement, and evaluate feedback control and estimation algorithms for robotic systems. You will focus on contact-rich manipulation tasks, ensuring that the robots can operate safely and efficiently alongside human workers. Your work will involve investigating applicable academic and industry research to develop, implement, and test solutions that support product features.

You will collaborate with a world-class team of experts in perception, machine learning, motion planning, and feedback controls. Your contributions will directly impact the development of advanced robotic systems that enhance productivity at Amazon fulfillment centers. You will also be responsible for designing and validating production designs, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
