Who you are
You have extensive experience in construction management, particularly in overseeing large-scale projects such as Fulfillment Centers. Your background includes a blend of construction engineering, planning, and project management, allowing you to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to serve as Amazon's representative and primary point of contact with developers and general contractors. Your ability to integrate construction efforts with operational needs is crucial for the success of the projects you manage.
You are comfortable with frequent travel, as this role requires 60% regional travel to job sites across the US. You are also willing to work from a corporate office when not traveling, demonstrating your commitment to the role and the team.
Desirable
Experience with tenant improvements and renovations is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique challenges of constructing fulfillment and distribution centers. You understand the importance of adhering to timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the construction of new Fulfillment Centers and overseeing renovations at existing sites. You will lead project management efforts, ensuring that all aspects of construction are executed efficiently and effectively.
You will collaborate closely with various teams within Amazon, including those responsible for equipping and furnishing the centers. Your role will require you to balance the technical aspects of construction with the operational needs of the business, ensuring that projects align with Amazon's customer-centric mission.
You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with external contractors and developers, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the construction process. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be key to your success in this position.
What we offer
Amazon provides a competitive salary range of $77,400.00 - $135,400.00 USD annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
