Your technical accounting acumen allows you to navigate complex transactions and ensure compliance with local and US GAAP standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for month-end close activities, including reviews and balance sheet reconciliations. You will partner with various Amazon teams to enhance standardization and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Your responsibilities will include preparing statutory trial balances and identifying local GAAP adjustments, as well as supporting the external audit process.

You will demonstrate strong technical accounting skills to conclude on the accounting treatment for complex business-related transactions. Your ability to collaborate with global accounting teams will be crucial in identifying opportunities for improvement and standardization across the organization.
