You have expertise in modular chassis-based enterprise and carrier products, and you are a skilled hardware board designer with a focus on Ethernet networking. Your experience includes working with terabit switch fabrics and high-speed interfaces, such as 10/40/100 gigabit connections. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers to solve complex challenges in AWS infrastructure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will play a key part in the design and development of next-generation Ethernet switching platforms for AWS data centers. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to deliver high-performance networking solutions that meet the demands of AWS's global infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing hardware components, testing prototypes, and ensuring that all products meet stringent performance and reliability standards. You will also engage in cross-functional collaboration to align hardware designs with software requirements, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

You will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues, providing technical guidance to junior engineers, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design processes.
