Job Description
Who you are
You are a fully qualified lawyer in France with at least 5 years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally supporting electronic devices, digital media, consumer products, e-commerce, or retail businesses. Your background includes significant experience in intellectual property and media law, which equips you to handle complex legal challenges in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to effectively partner with business teams and provide sound legal advice. Your outstanding legal and business judgment enables you to navigate the intricacies of commercial transactions and regulatory compliance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to Amazon's Books and Devices businesses, counseling on a broad range of French and EU commercial and regulatory matters. You will be responsible for structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing legal advice on digital media, consumer products, marketing, and commercial contracts. You will collaborate closely with the French legal team and the broader EMEA legal team, working together to support the business's growth and innovation.
