Overview

Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Devices team to develop products that enhance neighborhood safety. You'll be responsible for defining business strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires 5+ years of product management experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology — you've successfully driven product strategies from conception to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to define and drive business strategies based on thorough internal and external analysis. You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively across various disciplines and levels within the organization.

You are comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong leadership qualities — you thrive when working alongside hardware and software teams to deliver high-quality products on time. Your meticulous nature ensures that you manage prioritization and trade-offs effectively among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load. You have a proven track record of improving product operations efficiency, which is crucial for the success of your projects.

Desirable

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and experience with feature delivery and trade-offs of a product will set you apart. You have a solid understanding of end-to-end product management and are skilled in developing detailed business requirements and user stories that inform product specifications and architecture.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take on end-to-end ownership of product development — from defining use cases to launching products into production. You will manage the prioritization of features and trade-offs, ensuring that the customer experience is at the forefront of your decisions. Collaborating cross-functionally with various teams, you will execute product launches and proactively identify and resolve strategic or tactical issues that may hinder your team's ability to meet goals.

You will work closely with both hardware and software teams, ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you articulate product strategies and updates to stakeholders at all levels. You will also be responsible for defining and driving the business strategy for your products, leveraging your analytical skills to inform decisions.

What we offer

Amazon provides a comprehensive benefits package, including equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical and financial benefits. This position will remain posted until filled, and applicants are encouraged to apply via our internal or external career site. We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement.
