You are a highly experienced systems engineer with a strong background in enterprise infrastructure deployment and operations. You have a deep understanding of systems engineering principles and possess a strong architectural vision that allows you to design scalable infrastructure in regulated environments. Your expertise spans across network systems, security controls, and enterprise infrastructure domains, making you a technical authority in your field.

You have a proven track record of mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in systems and processes. Your ability to establish technical standards and ensure operational readiness is complemented by your strong leadership skills. You are comfortable with 50% travel, allowing you to engage with teams across multiple facilities and technical environments.

Desirable

Experience in satellite communications or broadband networks would be a plus, as well as familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the telecommunications sector.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing critical infrastructure systems for Amazon's Leo satellite broadband network. You will establish technical standards and ensure operational readiness across various facilities, contributing to the mission of delivering fast and reliable internet to underserved communities. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical excellence and scalability in infrastructure deployment.

You will serve as a technical authority for infrastructure initiatives, guiding the team in best practices and innovative solutions. Your role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. You will be responsible for assessing and optimizing existing systems, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the organization and its customers.
