Amazon is hiring a Site Leader to oversee all budgetary, people development, and operations objectives at their Fulfillment Center in Suffolk, Virginia. This role requires strong leadership skills and experience in managing operations teams.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in operations management, with experience leading teams and driving performance objectives. Your ability to coach and mentor others is key to your success, as you focus on building positive employee relations and leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. You understand the importance of safety, quality, and customer experience in operational success, and you are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Lean initiatives.
You excel at setting clear expectations and requirements for your team, ensuring that Operations and Area Managers are held accountable for their performance. Your proactive approach to sharing best practices across departments and shifts helps to create a cohesive and efficient operational environment. You are comfortable collaborating with support staff from various functions, including HR, Finance, and IT, to secure the necessary resources for your projects and initiatives.
What you'll do
As the Site Leader, you will be responsible for all aspects of operations at the Fulfillment Center. This includes driving the creation of quality initiatives and process changes that align with business objectives. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, providing them with the guidance and support they need to meet performance goals. Your role will involve measuring performance, providing feedback, and ensuring that best practices are implemented across all departments.
You will take the lead in ensuring that safety and quality standards are met, while also focusing on enhancing the customer experience. By leveraging the ideas and insights of your team, you will develop improvement plans that drive operational excellence. Your ability to build strong relationships with your team and other departments will be crucial in achieving success in this role.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $149,600.00 - $202,400.00 USD annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
