Your expertise in Java and AWS allows you to architect and implement complex features that meet rigorous performance and reliability standards. You are comfortable diving deep into technical details and ensuring that systems can handle large-scale production loads.

You have a proven track record of mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, guiding them through code reviews, and helping them improve their technical skills. Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with Principal Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and scientists to define requirements and propose technical solutions. You understand the importance of balancing delivery with technical debt and are skilled at making thoughtful trade-offs.

Desirable

Experience with Generative AI technologies is a plus, as you will be working on innovative solutions that leverage AI for automated testing and validation. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and operational excellence is also beneficial, as you will be responsible for monitoring and improving system performance.

What you'll do

In this role, you will architect, design, and implement major features or subsystems in automated testing and validation using Generative AI. You will collaborate closely with product, science, and other engineering teams to define requirements and propose technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include participating in design and architecture reviews, influencing platform and framework decisions, and ensuring operational excellence through monitoring and metrics.

You will drive continuous improvements in the systems you build, ensuring they are reliable, secure, and scalable. As a technical leader, you will mentor other software development engineers, helping them grow in their careers while maintaining high technical standards. You will also balance delivery timelines with the need to address technical debt, making informed decisions that benefit the team and the product.
