What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a talented team dedicated to advancing the Valkey open source project, a high-performance in-memory data store. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of foundational software that supports both the open source community and Amazon ElastiCache's business objectives. You will work closely with the Technical Steering Committee and other stakeholders to align project goals with community needs. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the technical direction of the team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for mentoring team members, providing guidance on technical issues, and fostering a collaborative team environment. As a key interface between the Valkey OSS community and Amazon ElastiCache, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of distributed database technology.
