You have over 5 years of engineering team management experience, demonstrating a strong ability to lead and elevate the performance of your team. You enjoy tackling hard, ambiguous problems and breaking them down into manageable parts, showcasing your creativity and drive. Your track record includes quickly ramping up on complex technical systems, demonstrating strong judgment, and identifying big picture opportunities for customers. You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple competing priorities effectively while delivering results. Your collaborative nature makes you a great team player, naturally uplifting those around you.
Desirable
Experience with IoT platforms and multimedia devices is a plus, as is familiarity with device firmware and large-scale services. A background in cloud infrastructure management will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the services and device components for the Frustration Free Setup. This includes owning and maintaining device components as well as the cloud infrastructure that supports the out-of-box experience for Amazon devices. You will work closely with partners who integrate with the components your team owns, ensuring seamless functionality across various technology stacks. Your role will involve building and owning software solutions that cater to a wide range of devices, from E-Readers to the Echo Family and third-party devices. You will be responsible for guiding your team through complex technical challenges, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration.
