What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions that optimize demand forecasting and capacity planning for Amazon's logistics operations. You will collaborate with the Last Mile Planning team to develop algorithms and tools that enhance route and station planning. Your role will involve writing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will also engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging machine learning techniques to refine planning algorithms and improve operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and reliability of package delivery to customers worldwide. You will work closely with product managers and other engineers to ensure that the software meets the needs of the business and aligns with Amazon's commitment to customer satisfaction.
