You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in building scalable systems that meet high security and compliance standards. Your expertise in AWS allows you to navigate complex cloud environments and implement robust solutions that enhance customer trust. You are familiar with Generative AI technologies and understand how they can be leveraged to improve security processes and audit workflows. You possess strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to engineering excellence, ensuring that the services you build are reliable and efficient. You enjoy mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge with the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
What you'll do
As a Senior Software Developer Engineer, you will lead initiatives that span multiple products and teams, focusing on building and owning internal services that monitor security and compliance attributes of key infrastructure. You will implement Generative AI solutions to automate audit execution workflows, making processes more efficient and consistent. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including security engineers and compliance specialists, to ensure that AWS exceeds the expectations of regulators and customers. You will also be responsible for writing high-quality code that operates at Amazon scale, mentoring other software development engineers, and influencing the technical strategy of the team.
