You are adept at collaborating across distributed engineering teams, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable

Experience with RTOS and Linux-based embedded systems is a plus, as is familiarity with scalable network management systems. You are passionate about customer obsession, always looking to identify and proactively address systemic issues that may impact user experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and architect scalable network management systems and connectivity solutions for Ring's embedded device portfolio. You will own the end-to-end debugging and resolution of critical networking issues, including setup failures and connectivity problems, ensuring high-quality video streaming and performance. Your technical decisions will drive the implementation of high-performance, resource-efficient networking solutions across various product lines.

You will lead design and code reviews, establishing best practices and technical standards for networking components. Mentoring junior engineers will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you provide technical guidance and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team. You will demonstrate customer obsession by identifying and proactively addressing systemic issues that affect user experience, ensuring that the solutions you implement meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
