What you'll do

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the AWS Security Operations Centre team, you will be responsible for designing and developing software systems that automate and enhance security processes within Amazon. You will tackle complex challenges in both existing and new development initiatives, ensuring that your solutions are secure, maintainable, and scalable. Your role will involve understanding the business impact of your systems and making responsible trade-offs between immediate operational needs and long-term objectives.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing your technical expertise to drive innovation and improve security measures. Your responsibilities will include developing new features, optimizing existing systems, and participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. You will also engage in continuous learning and improvement, staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in cloud security.
