You have a solid background in software development, ideally with 3-5 years of experience in building scalable applications. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage ambiguity effectively. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or similar, and you have experience with distributed service-oriented architectures. You are a problem solver at heart, eager to tackle challenges that impact millions of customers and sellers globally.

You are familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and understand how to leverage them to enhance system capabilities. Your experience with mobile development on platforms like Android and iOS is a plus, as is your knowledge of modern web frameworks such as React. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable using data to inform your decisions. You are committed to continuous learning and improvement, always seeking to enhance your skills and knowledge in software engineering practices. You understand the importance of customer obsession and strive to create products that meet user needs effectively.

Desirable

Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with CI/CD practices will set you apart. If you have worked on projects that required scaling applications across multiple marketplaces, that would be an added advantage. What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer II on the EasyShip team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new system capabilities that can scale across various marketplaces.
