What you'll do

As a Software Development Engineer in the Alexa Devices team, you will be at the forefront of innovation, developing features that present speech-backed visuals on Echo Show and similar devices. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining new systems, ensuring that Alexa delivers seamless interactions with minimal latency. Your role will involve partnering with other Amazon and third-party services to create a cohesive user experience.

You will work on various aspects of device frameworks, web services, and APIs, contributing to large-scale data infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing features that enhance user engagement, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to improve performance.

You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, making Alexa more responsive and engaging for customers.
