Who you are
You have a strong background in software testing, particularly in embedded systems, and possess excellent scripting abilities in Python. Your experience includes writing test plans, automating tests, and troubleshooting issues effectively. You are capable of functioning as an autonomous contributor, consistently delivering high-quality work and maintainable code. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Your problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex technical challenges, particularly in the context of cloud computing and server performance.
Desirable
Experience with ARM-based processors and cloud environments is a plus. Familiarity with automation frameworks and tools will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, and you understand the importance of quality assurance in software development.
What you'll do
As a Software Engineer in Test on the Graviton Team, you will be responsible for the software quality of Graviton servers. This includes setting up and maintaining lab and cloud environments, writing comprehensive test plans, and automating testing processes. You will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks that assess and mitigate quality risks associated with the Graviton servers. Your role will involve close collaboration with developers to ensure that the software meets high standards of quality and performance. You will also troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of AWS's Graviton servers, which are critical for various compute-intensive applications.
