Who you are
You have a strong background in supply chain management, particularly within Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). You excel at making data-driven decisions and have experience managing stakeholder relationships across various levels of an organization. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at navigating complex challenges to optimize supply chain processes.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey business conditions and decisions to stakeholders ranging from warehouse associates to senior executives. Your ability to think strategically while executing short-term plans is a key strength, enabling you to influence the long-term direction of supply chain operations.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own supply chain planning for Amazonβs fulfillment business, focusing on inventory optimization, transportation costs, and labor capacity management. You will analyze supply and demand within the fulfillment network and implement large-scale strategic initiatives to enhance customer service. Your responsibilities will include identifying problems, diving deep into data, and delivering results that significantly impact the organization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of supply chain strategies, balancing immediate operational needs with long-term planning. Your role will require quick decision-making in an ever-changing environment, where you will need to adapt to new information and challenges as they arise.
