Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers and operations managers, allows you to effectively support sourcing strategies and reduce risks and costs for Amazon. You are detail-oriented and can manage metrics to hold suppliers accountable for performance and delivery.
You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with competitive bidding processes — you understand the importance of aligning purchase requisitions with pre-defined SLAs. Your proactive approach to problem-solving enables you to tackle challenges in the supply chain effectively. You are committed to continuous improvement and are eager to contribute to the success of AWS Infrastructure Services.
What you'll do
As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for the creation and processing of purchase requisitions, ensuring they align with established SLAs. You will collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to implement sourcing strategies that minimize risks and costs. Your role will involve managing metrics to hold suppliers accountable for their performance and delivery, driving results through effective management of competitive bidding processes.
You will analyze data and market trends to support category managers in making informed decisions. Your contributions will help maintain the highest standards for safety and security while providing AWS customers with reliable access to cloud services. You will work closely with a diverse team of professionals, including software, hardware, and network engineers, to ensure the smooth operation of AWS global infrastructure.
