What you'll do

As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing production software issues that impact fulfillment services. You will develop monitoring solutions and perform software maintenance and configuration to ensure optimal performance. Your role will involve implementing fixes for internally developed code and building tools to automate daily operational activities.

You will work closely with development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating and enhancing current software systems. Your contributions will directly impact customer satisfaction, as you will be involved in ensuring that all software applications related to shipment, item availability, and shipment optimization function smoothly.

You will also be tasked with updating, tracking, and resolving technical challenges, which will require you to coordinate with multiple teams to ensure that high-impact production issues are resolved efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in this role.
