You have extensive experience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of system development guidelines. Your background includes hands-on experience designing and implementing quality platforms for consumer electronic devices, and you thrive in collaborative environments with accomplished teams. You are passionate about solving real-world challenges and transforming customer experiences through innovative technology.
You possess a deep understanding of cloud services and scalable solutions, having worked on initiatives that involve delivering critical cloud technology across multiple devices. Your technical expertise includes proficiency in AWS and Linux, enabling you to contribute effectively to complex projects. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys tackling challenges head-on and implementing effective solutions.
What you'll do
In this role, you will technically contribute to the development of T1 cloud services for the Device OS team, working on a multi-year roadmap of business-critical cloud technology solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions that enable rapid service and device launches. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining the core OS, platform features, and components that power Amazon's innovative consumer electronics.
You will engage in hands-on development, ensuring that the systems you build are robust, efficient, and capable of supporting millions of devices. Your role will involve implementing best practices in DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident management, to ensure the reliability and performance of the services you develop. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the team.
