Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise network and storage solutions. Your expertise in AWS and Linux allows you to manage hybrid cloud infrastructures effectively, ensuring scalability and reliability across distributed environments.
You are skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues in large-scale, multi-platform settings, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with cross-functional teams. Your hands-on experience at production facilities and post-production sites equips you to provide prompt technical support and respond to alerts and incidents efficiently.
You have a solid understanding of network equipment, storage arrays, and server infrastructure, and you perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security. Your ability to develop scripts and automation tools for administrative operations enhances your efficiency and effectiveness in managing systems.
Desirable
Familiarity with production and post-production workflows is a plus, as is experience with data migration and capacity management tasks. You are proactive in seeking out opportunities to improve processes and systems, and you enjoy collaborating with production teams and vendors to understand their requirements.
What you'll do
In this role, you will design, implement, and support network, systems, and storage solutions optimized for Studios workflows across on-premises data centers and public cloud platforms. You will monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, ensuring that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
You will execute storage provisioning and data migration tasks while developing automation tools to streamline routine administrative operations. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with production teams to understand their needs and providing hands-on technical support at various facilities.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring that production operations run without a hitch. Your role will require you to stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in network and systems engineering, allowing you to implement innovative solutions that enhance performance and reliability.
What we offer
Amazon offers a competitive salary range of $126,300.00 - $170,000.00 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
