What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud, working closely with AWS teams to ensure a successful rollout. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development and operations teams dedicated to delivering AWS services tailored for EU customers. You will collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on improving availability, reliability, latency, and performance.

You will be instrumental in shaping the operational strategies for the ESC, ensuring that services are scalable and meet the high standards expected by customers. Your role will involve monitoring system performance and implementing improvements based on data-driven insights. You will also engage in regular communication with stakeholders to report on progress and gather feedback.

As part of your daily activities, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of AWS services, leveraging your expertise to influence the direction of technology and operations. You will mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and excellence within your team.
