Who you are
You have a minimum of 7 years of international income tax experience, ideally gained through a public accounting firm, major law firm, or within a multinational corporation. Your expertise includes working with European tax laws, and you possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications. You are familiar with AI tools, which enhances your ability to analyze and implement tax processes effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, functioning as a tax adviser to various Amazon businesses and Tax Country Owners. Your strong analytical skills allow you to assess the application of tax legislation on business operations and communicate findings to both tax and non-tax stakeholders. You are proactive in monitoring developments in tax legislation across different jurisdictions, ensuring that your team remains compliant and informed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the Amazon group to provide ongoing tax support. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing the application of tax legislation on business operations and effectively communicating these insights to various stakeholders. You will design, implement, and maintain tax processes that ensure the ongoing management of tax risks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the tax function.
You will act as a business partner, ensuring that business activities align with Amazon's European legal and operational structure. Your role will involve monitoring developments in tax legislation in different jurisdictions, allowing you to provide timely and relevant advice to the business. You will also collaborate with Tax Country Managers to ensure that tax strategies are effectively executed and aligned with corporate objectives.
