What you'll do

As a Transportation Specialist at Amazon, you will play a critical role in the Network Operation Center, overseeing transportation execution across multiple geographies. You will ensure timely pick-up and delivery of freight, addressing any exceptions that may arise during the process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring network operations, analyzing data to identify trends, and proposing automation solutions to streamline processes. You will facilitate communication between transportation carriers, hubs, and warehouses, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

You will work closely with outbound operations, managing relationships with fulfillment centers and carriers to ensure that deliveries meet customer expectations. Your role will involve troubleshooting potential issues that could impact the lifecycle of freight, from the fulfillment center to the customer's doorstep. You will also be responsible for keeping stakeholders updated on the status of shipments and any challenges encountered.
