You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to translate requirements into user-friendly experiences. Your expertise in interaction design, visual design, and prototyping allows you to create compelling design solutions that enhance the developer experience. You are also familiar with design systems and patterns, contributing to their application and evolution within your projects. You understand the importance of user research and are skilled at conducting it to identify pain points and improve workflows.

Desirable

Experience with developer tools and workflows is a plus, as is familiarity with the Alexa ecosystem. You are passionate about discovering unanticipated needs and designing innovative products that delight users. Your attention to detail ensures that every aspect of your designs is crafted with care, resulting in high-quality user experiences.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design user experiences for developer tools and workflows related to Alexa device app testing, submission, and certification processes. You will create design solutions that include interaction design, visual design, wireframes, and prototypes. Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and senior designers, you will translate requirements into intuitive user experiences that meet the needs of developers. You will support user research activities to understand pain points and workflows throughout the app development lifecycle, ensuring that your designs are informed by real user feedback. Additionally, you will design and iterate on developer consoles, dashboards, testing interfaces, and submission portals, applying and contributing to design systems and patterns as you go.
