You have a strong background in vendor management and business strategy, with experience in driving growth and profitability in a retail or e-commerce environment. Your analytical skills are top-notch, allowing you to dive deep into business performance metrics and industry trends to inform your decisions. You excel in managing key vendor relationships and have a proven track record of executing strategic plans that enhance product selection and customer experience.
You are a strategic thinker who can translate data into actionable insights, making high-impact decisions that align with business goals. Your leadership skills extend to mentoring and developing team members, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Finance, Advertising, Marketing, and Account Management.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own the P&L for a major category, driving topline growth and profitability while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will lead long-term Joint Business Planning and complex negotiations with vendors, identifying growth opportunities and finding creative ways to reduce costs. Your responsibilities will include defining and prioritizing initiatives that delight customers, contributing to the development of new programs and features that improve the shopping and selling experience on Amazon.
You will collaborate with various teams to drive initiatives that span the entire business, ensuring alignment and execution of strategic goals. Your role will also involve analyzing business performance metrics and industry trends to inform your strategies and decisions. You will be instrumental in enhancing vendor terms and operational excellence, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the Hardlines team.
