You are proficient in Excel, which is essential for managing reporting and analysis tasks. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are detail-oriented, ensuring that you can handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work. You take ownership of your projects and are comfortable working cross-functionally to implement solutions that address customer pain points. You understand the grocery industry and are passionate about driving growth and customer acquisition.
Desirable
Experience in finance or marketing would be a plus, as it complements your vendor management skills. Familiarity with strategic negotiations and the ability to influence cross-category plans will set you apart. A background in data analysis or reporting tools can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and setting the strategic direction for Amazon Fresh. You will drive strategic negotiations with large vendors, representing Amazon in meetings with senior leaders. Your role will involve developing long-term strategies that significantly influence cross-category plans. You will work closely with various teams within Amazon and with strategic vendors to implement scalable and automated solutions that enhance customer experiences. Regular auditing of metrics will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to determine and prioritize business opportunities while identifying risks and making recommendations. You will also be tasked with identifying industry trends and developing innovative marketing strategies to grow multiple sub-categories within Amazon Fresh.
