Who you are
You have over 5 years of experience in account management, project or program management, or buying, demonstrating a strong ability to drive sales and profitability in a competitive market. Your expertise in Excel allows you to analyze sales data effectively, influencing business decisions with data-driven insights. You are fluent in Japanese and possess business-level English, enabling you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Your experience includes driving internal cross-team collaboration, ensuring that all departments work together seamlessly to achieve common goals. You have a solid background in business analysis and P&L management, which equips you to set and manage sales and profit targets for your assigned product categories. You are proactive in establishing strong partnerships with distributors and manufacturers, fostering effective communication to enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategies for your assigned categories, which include refrigerated and frozen foods, ambient foods, and non-food items. You will set sales and profit targets, manage progress, and propose adjustments as necessary to meet objectives. Analyzing sales data and market trends will be a key part of your responsibilities, allowing you to devise and implement effective sales strategies.
You will identify and select optimal suppliers, developing purchasing plans that align with your strategic goals. Establishing strong partnerships with distributors and manufacturers will be crucial, as you will need to maintain timely communication to ensure smooth operations. You will also be tasked with creating and executing web-based promotional plans, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance product visibility and sales.
Your role will involve close collaboration with internal departments, including business unit leaders, inventory management, web production, and marketing teams, to streamline processes and improve quality. You will participate in various projects that impact the entire department, either leading initiatives or contributing as a team member to achieve significant results.
