You are an exceptional Senior Visual UX Designer with over 7 years of design experience, eager to shape the vision of Alexa AI and device experiences. You have a keen eye for elegant, modern design and UI patterns, and you are passionate about exploring what’s next in product design as a tastemaker and storyteller. Your deep understanding of visual systems and best practices, including layout, typography, production, art direction, and motion design, sets you apart. You bring a desire to coach others and facilitate collaborative sessions like brainstorms and workshops, advocating for design solutions that align with business and customer goals.

You have a strong ability to translate a vision into concise deliverables and hands-on building with engineering teams, ultimately elevating the visual experience of millions of Alexa customers around the world. You are confident in presenting your ideas to internal teams and senior leadership, ensuring that your design innovations set standards for excellence. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design efforts for Alexa mobile and AI experiences, driving product vision and crafting visually compelling UI designs. You will innovate and set standards for design excellence, thinking holistically about the why of all that we ship. You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that your designs are not only visually appealing but also functional and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will include coaching team members, facilitating design workshops, and presenting your design concepts to stakeholders. You will also be expected to stay updated on the latest design trends and technologies, continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in product design.
