Job Description
Who you are
You have a solid background in web development, particularly in building and maintaining scalable, reusable components and templates for customer-facing surfaces. Your expertise in implementing responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI is complemented by your ability to collaborate effectively with UX and Creative teams.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are customer-obsessed, ensuring that all content published across Zappos’ digital properties is accurate, brand-consistent, and delivered on time. Your operational discipline allows you to balance hands-on engineering work with day-to-day content publishing seamlessly.
What you'll do
In this role, you will drive the vision and development of Zappos’ digital shopping experience, owning both the technical execution and operational content delivery. You will partner with engineers to troubleshoot front-end issues, resolve defects, and enhance CMS-driven workflows. Your participation in code reviews and documentation will contribute to continuous improvement efforts that raise the bar for front-end quality.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable components that enhance the customer experience across web and mobile platforms. Collaborating closely with Designers, Merchandisers, and Software Development partners, you will help accelerate front-end innovation while ensuring flawless daily execution of site content.
