You have experience in instructing and training operations leaders on safety policies, ensuring that all team members understand and incorporate safety standards into their daily operations. Your ability to identify best practices and integrate them into company policies demonstrates your commitment to continuous improvement in safety practices. You are also skilled in leading safety teams, including Safety Specialists and Coordinators, and are dedicated to developing leadership plans for your team members.

What you'll do

As a WHS Officer at Amazon, you will be responsible for executing company safety policies and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations at the Delivery Station. You will leverage lean principles and kaizens to lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing conditional and ergonomic risks in processes. Your role will involve conducting comprehensive risk assessments and analyzing safety data to identify areas for improvement. You will work closely with the operations team to implement safety standards and best practices, ensuring a safe working environment for all associates.

You will also be tasked with training and instructing operations leaders on safety policies, helping them to understand the importance of safety in their daily operations. Your ability to communicate effectively will be crucial in sending clear and consistent messages about safety expectations. Additionally, you will lead a team of safety professionals, guiding them in their roles and helping them to develop their skills and expertise in workplace safety.
