What you'll do

As a Geopolitics Analyst, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Anthropic's understanding of international AI developments — this includes tracking AI competition and analyzing the strategies of major global players. You will produce high-quality briefings that inform both internal strategy and external engagement, ensuring that all stakeholders grasp how the international competitive landscape affects Anthropic's mission. Your role will involve engaging with national security stakeholders in the U.S. and abroad, fostering partnerships that augment Anthropic’s efforts to ensure the survival and thriving of democracies through transformative AI.

You will analyze trends in compute, energy, model capabilities, corporate strategies, capital flows, talent pipelines, and government policies, translating this analysis into actionable insights. Your work will directly contribute to the development of Anthropic's policy positions and help shape the company's engagement with key stakeholders. You will collaborate with a diverse team of researchers, engineers, and policy experts, contributing to a culture of rigorous analysis and strategic thinking.
