What you'll do

As a Software Engineer on the Desktop team at Anthropic, you will play a crucial role in developing native applications for our Claude product. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement key components that integrate our advanced AI technology with user-friendly interfaces. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers and researchers to create applications that harness the transformative power of AI, making it accessible and beneficial for users.

You will be involved in the entire development process, from initial design to implementation and testing. Your work will focus on building applications for both macOS and Windows, utilizing a mix of native and web technologies. You will have the opportunity to learn and work with various programming languages and frameworks, contributing to the continuous improvement of our desktop applications.

In this role, you will also engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
