You have a strong background in frontend development, particularly with React and Next.js, and you understand how to create optimized and modern web architectures that enhance user experience. You are passionate about building complex layouts and smooth interactions that engage users effectively. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with design teams to implement animations and micro-interactions that elevate the overall aesthetic and functionality of web applications. You are familiar with headless CMS solutions like Strapi and experimentation platforms such as GrowthBook, allowing you to iterate rapidly based on user data. You are eager to push the boundaries of what is possible on the modern web and are excited about using AI and automation tools to enhance your workflow.

Desirable

Experience with the latest web stack, including React 19 and Next.js 16, is a plus. Familiarity with motion design systems and animation stacks will help you contribute to shaping the visual aspects of our web presence. A background in working with cross-functional teams will enable you to collaborate effectively and bring innovative ideas to life.

What you'll do

As a Frontend Engineer at Apify, you will play a crucial role in transforming our public web presence, including the homepage, documentation, blog, and landing pages, into a fast, modern, and industry-leading experience. You will build user interfaces that are seen by hundreds of thousands of developers each month, directly impacting how our brand is perceived in the tech industry. Your responsibilities will include creating and optimizing complex layouts, ensuring smooth interactions, and delivering exceptional user experiences across our applications. You will work closely with design teams to implement animations and micro-interactions, not just executing designs but also contributing to the overall motion design system and animation stack. You will leverage the latest web technologies and tools to enhance your workflow and push the boundaries of modern web development. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly iterate on features and user interfaces, coupling a headless CMS with our experimentation platform to ship, measure, and refine based on real user data.
