You have a strong DevOps mindset and deep familiarity with Microsoft-centric stacks, including Azure, IIS, SQL Server, and Azure Logic Apps. Your experience includes managing cloud environments and ensuring the reliability of services while supporting day-to-day operations. You are comfortable working in diverse communities and understand the importance of inclusion in the workplace. You possess a solid understanding of both legacy and modern application stacks, including classic Windows/IIS and SQL Server applications, as well as newer Angular and .NET Core services. Your technical expertise allows you to effectively bridge the gap between traditional and cloud-native architectures, ensuring a smooth transition towards standardized Kubernetes-based practices. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and are committed to continuous learning and growth.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take technical ownership of the vCom Azure estate, ensuring that all services are running optimally and securely. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps methodologies. Your responsibilities will include designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring system performance to ensure high availability and reliability.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Azure environment, working closely with development teams to optimize application performance. As a senior engineer, you will mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of learning and collaboration. You will play a key role in driving the adoption of cloud-native technologies and practices within the organization, contributing to the overall success of AppDirect's mission to empower digital entrepreneurs.
