Who you are

You have 3+ years of experience in QA Engineering with a strong focus on automation and test strategy — you've designed and implemented testing plans for various systems, ensuring high-quality software delivery. Your proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or Java allows you to write effective automated tests that enhance the testing process.

Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright, is a strong plus — you understand the nuances of different testing tools and can adapt your strategies to fit the needs of large traffic distributed systems and machine learning algorithms. You also have a solid background in API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured, which enables you to validate backend services effectively.

Your experience extends to mobile testing on both iOS and Android platforms — you are familiar with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing, ensuring that applications perform well across different environments. You possess a deep understanding of performance testing concepts and tools, which you leverage to optimize application performance.

You are self-disciplined and adaptable, thriving in a remote-first environment — your ability to work independently and manage your time effectively allows you to succeed in a flexible work setting. You have a questioning mindset that ensures no assumption goes untested, and you take strong ownership of manual test efforts, complementing them with automation where it adds the most value.

What you'll do

In this role, you will collaborate with engineers to design comprehensive testing plans for various systems, including large traffic distributed systems and big data platforms. You will define suitable test strategies and implement test automation to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software. Your responsibilities will include writing automated tests using your scripting skills and utilizing test automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.

You will also be responsible for conducting API testing and ensuring that backend services meet quality standards. Your expertise in mobile testing will be crucial as you validate applications on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring a seamless user experience across devices. You will engage in cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing, identifying and resolving issues that may arise in different environments.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to performance testing efforts, utilizing your knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools to optimize application performance. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that testing efforts align with project timelines and quality expectations.
