Who you are
You have over 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset and the ability to navigate complex financial challenges. You are self-motivated and possess a high degree of judgment, allowing you to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Your communication skills are strong, enabling you to collaborate with various levels of internal and external personnel. You have a proven track record of problem-solving and analytical skills, which are essential in the finance domain.
Your experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills sets you apart, as you are comfortable using these tools to optimize financial processes. You understand the importance of compliance with established company policies and GAAP, and you are committed to ensuring SOX controls compliance in your work.
What you'll do
In this role, you will prepare and review journal entries to account for global investments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. You will elaborate on 10Q/10K disclosures related to various financial metrics, including AOCI, Investments, and Balance Sheet Commitments. Monitoring FX transactions across several entities for hedging purposes will be a key responsibility, as will reconciling and reporting global investments to Treasury leadership.
You will play an active role in the innovation and optimization of Treasury Accounting initiatives, collaborating with different teams to enhance financial reporting processes. Your analytical skills will be crucial in monitoring daily other income expense transactions, allowing you to provide valuable insights to the Treasury leadership team. You will ensure that financial data is recorded accurately and in accordance with established company policies, contributing to the overall financial health of Apple.
