Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in developing AI-based tools and ensuring security in software systems. Your expertise includes programming languages such as Python, Go, Swift, and C++, allowing you to design and implement complex systems effectively. You possess a strong understanding of user needs and can translate those into functional software solutions that enhance security and usability.
You have a proven track record of designing, building, and operating complex distributed systems. Your experience includes deploying automation strategies and rollback mechanisms to ensure system reliability. You are a creative thinker with excellent troubleshooting skills, capable of addressing challenges independently while communicating effectively with team members.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building the next generation of internal AI-based software development tools for Apple. Your focus will be on creating user-friendly and secure platforms that accelerate development for thousands of engineers. You will work on projects such as developing an investigation platform for security analysts and a developer-facing platform for automated bug analysis using AI.
You will implement security analysis fuzzing infrastructure capable of handling 100k parallel nodes, ensuring that business-critical systems run with maximum automation and minimal human intervention. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential as you work to enhance the security and privacy standards of Apple's products. You will also be involved in continuous improvement efforts, gathering user feedback to refine and enhance the tools you develop.
