Who you are

You have a PhD or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating expertise in deep learning with a strong publication record in relevant conferences such as CVPR, NeurIPS, or ICML. Your programming skills in Python are complemented by proficiency in deep learning toolkits like PyTorch or TensorFlow, allowing you to develop innovative algorithms and systems.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and scientists to tackle challenging problems in foundation models and deep learning. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building infrastructure, datasets, and models that exhibit fundamental general capabilities such as understanding and generating text, images, speech, and videos. You will work on vision-language modeling and image and video generation, contributing to the development of data pipelines and evaluation suites for visual understanding at scale.

You will collaborate with a close-knit team of world-class engineers and scientists, addressing some of the most pressing challenges in deep learning. Your work will involve developing algorithms and techniques that not only advance the field but also have a tangible impact on Apple products.
