Who you are
You have a strong engineering background with a BS Degree and significant experience in designing analog and mixed-signal silicon. Your leadership skills enable you to influence and connect with various teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. You are adept at communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, making you a key player in driving projects forward.
Your experience spans all aspects of silicon design, and you have a proven track record of delivering functional silicon that meets system requirements. You understand the importance of working closely with platform architecture and systems teams to establish silicon requirements and ensure that designs are properly verified and validated for long-term reliability.
Desirable
Experience with next-generation architectures and circuit designs is a plus, as is familiarity with innovative design practices and methodologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy leading multi-functional engineering efforts to achieve project goals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the design and development of custom silicon solutions for Apple's mobile products, including the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AppleTV. You will work closely with silicon vendors to implement innovative design practices that ensure quality results. Your responsibilities will include defining, developing, and productizing next-generation silicon solutions, as well as managing schedules and supporting engineering efforts across various teams.
You will be responsible for delivering first revision functional silicon and production-worthy silicon per system requirements on schedule. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish silicon requirements and ensuring that designs are thoroughly verified and validated. You will also play a critical role in the development of new process technologies and architectures, contributing to the advancement of Apple's custom silicon capabilities.
