Who you are
You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in analog IC design — you've taken ownership of complex projects and ensured high-quality standards in your work. Your hands-on design expertise spans multiple areas including LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, and Serdes, allowing you to tackle a variety of challenges in the field. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams and external vendors to drive technical discussions and ensure successful project outcomes.
Your strong analytical skills enable you to define and specify requirements for analog IP, and you have a proven track record of supervising IP design, characterization, and debugging. You are detail-oriented and meticulous in reviewing and signing off on IP design, tools, flow, and collateral, ensuring that everything meets Apple's high standards. You are also comfortable with occasional travel, as it may be required to support project needs.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and specify requirements for analog IP provided by external vendors, ensuring that they align with Apple's quality standards. You will drive technical discussions with vendors and foundries, supervising the IP design process from characterization to debugging. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and signing off on IP design, tools, flow, and collateral, as well as test plans and characterization reports. You will support Apple IP integration teams, collaborating with front-end design, design verification, physical design, DFT, TE/PE, and SIPI teams to ensure seamless integration of the analog IP into mobile devices.
Additionally, you will work closely with Apple system teams to assist with product integration, hardware/software bring-up, and debugging. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the high standards that Apple is known for, and you will have the opportunity to work on innovative products that delight millions of customers.
