Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of experience in ASIC design, particularly in multimedia IP or SoC front-end design. Your strong collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and you possess excellent written and verbal communication abilities. You are passionate about creating sophisticated solutions to complex challenges and have a deep understanding of power-efficient design principles.

Your experience includes detailing specifications and building RTL designs, ensuring that you can contribute to the design of high-performance systems-on-chips (SoCs). You thrive in environments where you can explore innovative solutions to enhance performance while minimizing power and area. Your background in verification processes, including working with design verification and formal verification teams, equips you to ensure functionality and performance in your designs.

What you'll do

As a Pixel IP DMA Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of the Pixel IP design effort, collaborating closely with architecture, design, and verification teams. Your primary responsibility will be to build high-performance and low-power DMA engines that facilitate the efficient movement of large amounts of data between the memory system and the Pixel IP Engine. You will explore various solutions to enhance performance while minimizing power consumption and area usage, ensuring that Apple products can handle tasks seamlessly.

You will detail specifications and construct RTL designs, playing a critical role in the development process. Your collaboration with design verification and formal verification teams will be essential to verify the functionality and performance of the designs you create. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results that impact millions of customers.
