Who you are

You have a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field, and you bring at least 8 years of industry experience to the table. Your deep knowledge of C and C++ allows you to tackle complex audio software challenges effectively. You are passionate about audio technology and its applications in spatial computing, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can mentor others and share your expertise.

Your experience has equipped you with a strong understanding of software design principles, enabling you to define and lead the development of innovative audio architectures. You are a natural leader, eager to guide and mentor junior engineers, helping to cultivate the next generation of talent in the field. You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail, ensuring that the audio experiences you create are both high-quality and impactful.

What you'll do

In this role, you will investigate and define architectures for Spatial Audio, leading the development of those architectures and features. You will collaborate broadly across Apple, working with various teams to bring your audio innovations to life. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing audio software solutions that enhance the user experience of Apple products. You will also mentor other engineers on the team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

You will be at the forefront of pushing the limits of what audio can do for Spatial Computing, contributing to the development of the Apple Vision Pro and other groundbreaking products. Your work will directly impact how users interact with digital content in their physical spaces, making it a vital part of the user experience. You will engage in cross-functional collaboration, ensuring that audio features are seamlessly integrated into the overall product ecosystem.
