What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Apple, you will be a key member of the Satellite Connectivity Group, working on innovative solutions that enable connectivity for Apple devices in remote areas. You will design and implement backend services that support critical features like Emergency SOS and Roadside Assistance, ensuring that millions of users can stay connected even when off the grid.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to define the architecture and technical direction of the satellite network. Your role will involve writing high-quality, maintainable code in Go, as well as participating in code reviews and mentoring junior engineers. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues in production systems, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
