You have over 7 years of relevant experience in business affairs, content licensing, advertising, entertainment, law, or a related industry โ your background has equipped you with a deep understanding of IP rights, including copyright, trademark, and licensing principles. You are adept at identifying and mitigating third-party IP risks in advertising or marketing, ensuring compliance and brand integrity in all communications.
Your experience has honed your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including creative, legal, and marketing professionals. You understand the nuances of working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and compliance are paramount. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills that allow you to navigate complex licensing challenges with ease.
You thrive in a creative atmosphere and are passionate about ensuring that marketing materials meet the highest standards of accuracy and integrity. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment that drives successful outcomes.
Desirable

What you'll do
As the App Clearance Manager, you will lead the end-to-end rights and clearance process for third-party apps and games featured in Appleโs global marketing campaigns. You will work closely with Appleโs creative, product marketing, and legal teams to ensure that all marketing materials are legally compliant and brand-appropriate. Your role will involve reviewing and approving content, negotiating rights agreements, and managing relationships with external partners.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing clearance strategies that align with Appleโs marketing objectives while minimizing legal risks. This includes conducting thorough reviews of marketing materials to ensure compliance with IP laws and regulations. You will also provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams throughout the creative process, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
In addition to managing the clearance process, you will also play a key role in educating team members about IP rights and compliance issues. You will develop training materials and resources to help enhance the team's understanding of these critical topics. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a culture of compliance and integrity within the Marcom Business Affairs team.
