You have a strong background in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, with significant experience in researching and developing innovative approaches in these fields. Your solid programming skills enable you to implement complex algorithms effectively, and you hold a Master's degree in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Your passion for crafting accurate and hyper-realistic 3D experiences drives you to explore novel methods within differentiable rendering, generative models, and other areas of computer vision and machine learning. You are eager to work with a team of experts who share your commitment to innovation and excellence.

What you'll do

As a Computer Vision Research Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a small team dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology for Apple Maps. Your primary responsibility will be to research and develop new methods and algorithms that enhance the 3D experiences offered by the platform. You will work on differentiable rendering techniques, including NeRF and Gaussian Splatting, and contribute to the advancement of generative models in computer vision.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers and researchers, sharing insights and ideas to strengthen the team's output. Your role will involve not only technical development but also contributing to the overall vision and strategy of the 3D Vision team. You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of projects and help shape the future of 3D mapping technology at Apple.
