Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in software development, particularly with C++. Your strong software engineering skills enable you to write high-performance, memory-efficient, and multi-threaded code. You are familiar with camera calibration and have a solid understanding of object-oriented modular design and test-driven development. Effective communication and teamwork are second nature to you, allowing you to thrive in collaborative environments.

You may also hold a Master's degree in computer vision, machine learning, robotics, or related fields, which enhances your ability to contribute to cutting-edge projects. Your problem analysis and solving skills are well-honed, enabling you to tackle complex challenges in software development. You embrace the latest technologies and are eager to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies.

What you'll do

As a Computer Vision Engineer at Apple, you will be part of the Video Engineering team, working on groundbreaking products that impact millions of users. Your responsibilities will include integrating algorithms and creating run-time services that enhance the functionality of Apple’s products. You will support low-level and cross-platform efforts, ensuring that the software you develop meets the highest quality standards.

You will participate in code reviews, advocating for high-quality results and collaborating closely with some of the best computer vision engineers in the industry. Your role will involve working with state-of-the-art Apple products, giving you low-level access to hardware and APIs that are unique to Apple.
